In 1996, three historic churches in East Baltimore - Trinity Lutheran, Bethany English Lutheran & Martin Luther Lutheran - merged to form Amazing Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.
We are now in our 29th year!
A truly multicultural come as you are congregation, Amazing Grace seeks to be a safe, healthy, healing place in the east Baltimore neighborhood of McElderry Park. Leaning into God's vision for us and the world, we walk together following Jesus, working to bring healing, peace and justice to ourselves, neighbors, and the community.

Something's happening seven days a week here at Amazing Grace. If we're not in a meeting or program the front door under the blue awning will be open so come on in to say hello or grab a cup of coffeee.
