In 2000 neighbors from the McElderry Park Community Association and Amazing Grace formed Charm City Land Trusts (CCLT). CCLT believes that land should be community-controlled and used to benefit neighbors.  The Amazing Port Street Commons on the 600 block of N. Port St. has community gardens, a prayer labyrinth, weather station and green grass to play & gather for events. It is a sacred space used to produce food and flowers, support pollinators like bees & butterflies and allows neighbors to gather for relaxation, prayer and serenity. The space is also used to host health fairs, afterschool clubs, outdoor worship, educational workshops & more! 

Our community gardeners gather weekly from 10am-12noon most Saturdays and on special workdays when we have individual and group volunteers who want to share their support.  Reach out to Beth at the church to join our garden email group or to inquire about volunteering.
